Strategic Partnership with the University of St Andrews

With the aim of setting up a mutual collaboration, the University of Padua and the University of St Andrews (United Kingdom) organised in June 2021 a joint International Staff Training week dedicated to the celebration respectively of the 800th and 600th anniversaries of their foundation. Subsequently, the two universities decided to design a joint call for proposals, in line with their internationalisation objectives and in order to fund jointly developed teaching and research projects.

Università degli Studi di Padova University of St Andrews

The second edition of the joint call, addressed to professors from the two partner universities, aims to fund or co-fund collaborative initiatives that fall into the following categories:

  • Intensive research seminars or workshops;
  • Pedagogical workshops (e.g. exploring digital or other course collaboration);
  • Short term research stays;
  • Graduate Summer/ Winter programs;
  • Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) projects.

Given the joint nature of these projects, each application must be submitted by at least two lecturers, one from UNIPD and one from St Andrews.

Call closed on 5 May, at 6:00 PM (CET)
