Shaping a World-class University

The University of Padua keeps encouraging and renewing an internationalisation strategy worldwide both to turn its degree programmes into open, innovative, and international learning environments and to boost its visibility, attractiveness and reputation for an increasingly better international ranking.

Through the ‘Shaping a World-Class University’ Call, the University aims to continue to support internationalisation activities of different kinds.

The Call 2024 funds the following specific initiatives/types of projects:

  • Short-term visiting professors (face-to-face)
  • Virtual & Collaborative programmes (virtual)
  • Supporto allo sviluppo di programmi di mobilità strutturata per crediti o per titoli
  • Blended & Face-to-face Winter Schools
  • Attività di cooperazione allo sviluppo (face-to-face)

This second call is fully aimed at developing Summer Schools - to be held in summer 2025 – and shaping a portfolio of innovative and inter-disciplinary summer programmes, which results competitive and attractive at international level.

1st Call for Proposals of the 'Shaping a World Class University' - Ed 2023 - CLOSED

2nd Call for Proposals of the 'Shaping a World Class University' - Ed 2023

The 2nd Call for Proposals of the 'Shaping a World Class University' - Ed 2023 programme has now been published. 

Also this 2nd Call will support initiatives focused on the innovation and digitalisation of curricular activities (summer/winter schools, virtual programmes, visiting professors ), development of structured mobility programmes (mobility windows and double/joint degrees) and development cooperation activities.
Selected projects must be implemented between 1 January 2024 and 30 September 2024.  

The deadline for submitting applications is 31 October 2023 at 2pm CET.
