Call “Shaping a World-Class University”

The University of Padua promotes and renews a global internationalisation strategy, with the aim of making degree programmes open, innovative and international learning environments, while at the same time increasing the visibility, attractiveness and reputation of the University for an ever better position in international rankings.

Through the call “Shaping a World-Class University”, the University aims to ensure continuity in its internationalisation activities by supporting initiatives focused on the innovation and digitalisation of curricular activities, the development of structured mobility programmes and development cooperation activities.

The call provides for the following types of project eligible for funding:

Short-term visiting professors (in-person activities)
Virtual & Collaborative programmes (virtual teaching initiatives)
Support for the development of structured mobility programmes for credits or degrees
Blended & Face-to-face Summer Schools
International cooperation activities (in-person activities on site)

Call “Shaping a World-Class University 2026”

Deadline for the submission of applications: 10 June at 13:00.

The call funds initiatives dedicated to internationalisation and teaching innovation, structured mobility (such as mobility windows and double or joint degrees) and international cooperation. Among this year’s new features, Action 2.2 supports collaborative research projects with African institutions, promoting scientific partnerships, staff and researcher mobility, remote activities and joint dissemination of results.

The initiative is part of the University strategy to strengthen international collaborations, with particular attention to the African continent.
