Referents and services for inclusion and for people with disabilities

The University of Padova indicates people and offices that can be contacted for all issues related to the inclusion and needs of people with disabilities.

Contacts for inclusion and people with disabilities
Each department of the University has appointed a contact person for inclusion and for people with disabilities as a point of reference for issues related to inclusion, disability-related needs and the presence of learning difficulties and vulnerabilities.
The contact persons are committed to creating personalized exchanges with students and colleagues to encourage participation in university life and the right to study. They are active in promoting ways of raising awareness and involving the members of the departments towards inclusion, in a personalized way and taking into account the traditions and experiences carried out.

Student Services Office

The University of Padova provides a series of services for students with disabilities and specific learning disorders (SLD), to guarantee them the right to education.

Representative for the area of disability and inclusion in the Student Council
Students with disabilities, SLD and other vulnerabilities can contact those who represent the area related to disabilities and inclusion in the Student Council to bring their requests to the attention of the referents and services for inclusion and disability and, more generally, of the university community.

Larios Laboratory - Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Pedagogy and Applied Psychology – FISPPA
It offers free advice for the benefit of the professional planning of students of our University and in particular to people with disabilities, specific learning difficulties and other vulnerabilities.

University Centre for University Psychological Clinical Services - SCUP 
It offers free medium, short and long-term psychological support to university students who encounter difficulties that hinder their daily stay and study at the University.

Public Engagement Office
Within the Public Engagement Office, the Engagement and Sustainability sector coordinates and promotes sustainability, inclusion and social innovation actions at the University and in the local area; It carries out actions for the promotion of sport, well-being, equal opportunities and gender equality.

Psychological Assistance Service for University Employees (APAD)
The service is offered by the University to university employees and their dependent family members, for the purposes of prevention, counselling and clinical and psychotherapeutic intervention in the field of psychological and relational distress and pathology.
