July 2024: The University of Padua secures the first place in Italy among the mega universities. Excellent results for 2024 in the various examined sectors, with a score of 107 in Communication and Digital Services, followed by Internationalization and Employability with 91 points, Scholarships awarded with 88 points, Facilities with 84 points, and Services with a score of 76.

July 2023: This year again, the University of Padua confirms its second place, after Bologna and before La Sapienza in Rome, among the mega universities (those with over 40,000 students). With an overall score of 87.5 points, the University of Padua achieves high scores in all six considered parameters (services, scholarships, facilities, communication and digital services, internationalization, employability), reaching peaks of excellence particularly in internationalization (93 points), communication and digital services (91 points), and scholarships awarded (90 points).

  AlmaLaurea

June 2022: According to the 2022 AlmaLaurea Report on the profile and employment condition of graduates from Italian universities, the employment rate one year after obtaining a second-level degree in Padua is significantly higher than the Italian average (77.7% compared to the national figure of 74.6%), as well as the rate five years after graduation (91.3% compared to the national figure of 88.5%).

  Anvur Evaluation

April 13, 2022: According to the 2015-2019 report by the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System (Anvur), which depicts the state of Italian university research, the University of Padua ranks first for the valorization of young researchers and among the top state universities in Italy for the quality and quantity of research.

June 6, 2019: Anvur Evaluation, Unipd in the A category. Rector Rosario Rizzuto: "Extraordinary result." The highest score for the University of Padua. Certifying the result, the first of its kind for a large university, is Anvur, which provided the judgment related to the evaluation visit conducted in November 2018.

In the field of research, the University of Padua is rated as an excellent university according to the results of the National Evaluation Agency (Anvur). According to Anvur, the University excels in research quality particularly in physics, medicine, economics, industrial and information engineering, psychology, and agriculture.

  Education Around

February 2021: The non-profit association Education Around has published the new 2021 rankings, taking into consideration 63 state universities in Italy (members of the AlmaLaurea consortium), 56 disciplinary rankings, and over 25,000 data points.
In the overall ranking, the University of Padua is positioned seventh with a total EA score (obtained by calculating the average of the scores obtained by each individual university in the rankings related to bachelor's, master's, and/or single-cycle degrees in which it is present) of 66.6. The 2021 rankings refer to statistics related to the 2019 graduating classes.
