Invitation of teaching staff members from Programme countries - KA131

The Erasmus+ Programme KA131 provides mobility grants to allow teaching staff of the University of Padua to invite members of staff from E.U. enterprises or teaching staff of European partner universities to teach at the University of Padua. Teaching staff of European partner universities is provided with incoming mobility grants directly by their sending institution.

Who can participate: staff from EU enterprises/bodies and freelances by prior invitation of a teaching staff member of Padua.

Duration of the mobility: according to the Erasmus Guide, there is a minimum of 1 day and a maximum of 60 days (excluding travel time). During this time, there is no minimum of teaching hours for enterprises/bodies and freelances from Programme Countries required. However, the Call is limited to a maximum period of 14 days including travel time.

Grant: according to the tables of the Programme. It varies according to the travel distance between the University of Padua and the enterprises, and the duration of the stay.
If the expenses actually incurred are higher than the assigned EU grant, the exceeding part may be supplemented by the inviting teaching staff member with its own funds.

Health Insurance Coverage in case of intra-EU mobility, basic coverage is usually provided by the Participant's National Health Service also during the stay in another EU country (within the European Economic Area or in Switzerland) through the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) - direct health care. . In the event that the Participant believes that this coverage may not be sufficient, he or she can take out supplementary private policy.

How to apply:

  • staff from EU enterprises: the inviting teaching staff member of the University of Padua must apply online exclusively via the online form.
    The procedure is accessible via login (SingleSignOn username and password - the same as for email). All mandatory fields must be filled in and the required files must be attached.
  • teaching staff: please refer to the application procedures set forth by the sending university abroad.

Selection: the applications received will be selected by a dedicated comisison appointed by the Rector, based on selection criteria outlined in the Call.

Closing date for applications:

  • staff from UE enterprises: for the 2025/2026 academic year, two calls are published: for activities to be carried out between September 1, 2025, and January 31, 2026, and for activities to be carried out between February 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026.
  • teaching staff of University of a Programme Country: please refer to the deadline for applications set forth by the university abroad.

Mobility deadline: the 30th of June of the calendar year following the pubblication of the Call (for the Call 2025/2026 published in March 2025 the deadline is 30/06/2026)

Call and modules (B form)

Two calls for the 2025/2026 academic year.

  • For the first call a.y. 2025/2026, the application must be submitted by Thursday 27 March 2025 – 13:00 PM according to the procedures indicated in the call.
  • For the second call a.y. 2025/2026, the application must be submitted from Wednesday 1 October 2025 to Thursday 30 October 2025 – 13:00 PM according to the procedures indicated in the call.
  • The new call a.y. 2026/2027, will be open approximately in March 2026.
