Invitation of teachers from partner country - KA171
The Erasmus+ KA171 syllabus provides the staff of universities located in a non-European country (partners) participating in the project, mobility grants for teaching periods and / or training / job shadowing in Padova.
Who can participate: staff of universities located in non-European countries (partners) at the invitation of a lecturer of our University provided that an inter-institutional agreement has previously been signed for the reference year between the two institutions.
Duration of mobility: the Erasmus+ Guide provides for a minimum of 5 consecutive days of activities and a maximum of 60 days (excluding travel). The call, however, limits the period to a maximum of 14 days including travel. During the period, there is a minimum number of 8 hours of course units for periods up to 7 days of duration excluding travel (or for shorter stay). The minimum number of hours of lessons becomes 4 for periods of up to 7 days of duration excluding travel (or for shorter stays) in the case of Teaching Staff combined with training activities; There is no minimum limit of hours for the traning activity.
Contribution: calculated on the basis of the tables of the Programme. Variable according to the distance between the University of Padova and the guest's departure campus and the duration of the stay.
Health care and insurance in case of mobility from non-EU countries: the citizen or foreign citizen applying for a Schengen visa must demonstrate that he or she has an adequate insurance policy for medical treatment and hospitalization following accident or illness and repatriation costs, for the period of stay, with a minimum coverage of € 30,000 valid for the national territory and extended to the Schengen Area. In the event that the participant considers that this coverage may not be sufficient, he or she may take out supplementary private health insurance
How to participate: applications must be submitted exclusively online by the lecturer of Padova. The procedure is accessible via login (SingleSignOn username and password - the same as e-mail). All required fields must be filled in and the required files must be attached.
Selection: the applications received are selected by a special commission appointed by the Rector, based on the selection criteria set out in the call for applications.
Deadline for the submission of the application: each calendar year a single call is published for two calls (usually March and October) to access contributions attributable to the three institutional contracts in force.
Mobility deadline: 31 October of the calendar year following the publication of the call (e.g. for the call published in March 2026 the deadline is 31/10/2027).
The grants awarded under the 2026 Call for Proposals, from 01/06/2026 to 31/10/2027, derive from the flows financed through the 2023 financial contract (only in the first call expiring 31/07/2026) the 2024 financial contract, the 2025 financial contract and the 2026 financial contract (only for the second call, active from 01/08/2026)
The deadlines for submitting the online application for the 2026 Call are:
- First application call available from Tuesday 3 March 2026 to Tuesday 31 March 2026 at 1 pm
- Second application call available from Thursday 1 October 2026 to Thursday 29 October 2026 at 1 pm
