Bressanone, with its rich traditions and history, is located centrally in the Val d'Isarco (BZ). Geographically, it has long been a place where different worlds meet and interact, a natural link between North and South, between the cultures of Mitteleuropa and Italy.
The Casa della Gioventù is situated near the schools and offers 48 beds (including 6 for disabled students) in single and double rooms.
All rooms come with bed linen and towels, which are changed once a week. Occupants of the rooms can connect to the Internet by wi-fi using the same card they receive on arrival for access to the Free University of Bolzano facilities.
On campus, there are lecture halls, study rooms and a library. Use of the kitchen is not permitted.
For students of Padova university attending summer courses, the allocation of places is accomplished by booking on Uniweb, at the time of pre-enrolment for the summer course. Those admitted to summer courses are selected by way of a merit ranking system, which is also applied to the allocation of hostel beds (for students who have submitted an application), as long as places remain available. Students can check in on the day before the start of the course, between 14.00 and 20.00 hours
The educational facilities at Bressanone can be used for Summer School courses, conferences and other initiatives.
