A conclusione del processo di analisi dell’organizzazione dei dipartimenti avviato a inizio 2018, l’Università di Padova ha approvato le linee guida per l’organizzazione di questi ultimi.
Queste, elaborate a partire dalla definizione degli obiettivi e dei criteri da utilizzare e sulla base delle specificità di ogni dipartimento, descrivono i criteri per disegnare lo schema organizzativo, il contenuto delle posizioni, l’attribuzione dei processi alle unità organizzative e gli organigrammi della struttura amministrativa e tecnica. Le linee guida prevedono, inoltre, le modalità di approvazione degli organigrammi e di assegnazione delle posizioni.

L’organigramma amministrativo dei dipartimenti viene proposto da ogni dipartimento, in coerenza con quanto previsto dalle linee guida approvate dal Consiglio di amministrazione dell’Ateneo, ed è approvato con decreto del direttore generale che provvede alla verifica della coerenza della proposta con le linee guida.
Con l’assenso di tutte le direttrici e direttori di dipartimento coinvolti, l’organizzazione iniziale dei 32 dipartimenti è stata approvata dal CDA ed entra in vigore con l’attribuzione degli incarichi di segretaria e segretario di Dipartimento a conclusione delle procedure di job posting e training dedicate.

During the Academic Senate session, held on July 9, invited students, professors, and members of the University staff came together to promote an open discussion facing the issue of migrations.  The goal was to bring the conversation of rescuing migrants back to a state of reasonableness while honoring the values of universities and civil society.

The ruling of the Senate was clear "We must reiterate that rescuing shipwrecked migrants presents itself as a moral and legal duty and that a rescue cannot be declared over until the people onboard are brought to a place that guarantees their complete safety.”  There is a commitment from the University to express solidarity with the organizations and all of those who are doing their utmost to save lives by rescuing shipwrecked migrants in the Mediterranean Sea and guaranteeing them a safe harbor.
