The Admissions and Welcome Unit of the Global Engagement Office organises - in collaboration with other university offices and Departments - a series of special welcome activities for all the international students who have chosen Padua for pursuing their Bachelor's or Master's degree.

The Institutional Welcome meeting (Unincontro and The Academy Night), generally scheduled in October, is held in dual mode (presence and online). The rector welcomes international students enrolled in the first year of one of the courses of study activated by the University of Padua.

Residence permit
The SAOS desk will organize a series of online meeting to explain how to fill in the Residence Permit request.

ESN Guided Tours of Padua: during the months of September and October, a series of tours of the city of Padua are planned in collaboration with ESN (Erasmus Student Network of Padua), allowing students to visit the most beautiful corners of the city, and to discover how the University and the City coexist together and share the same spaces, fostering synergistic growth.

Campus Tours: during the months of September and October, international students enrolled in their first year have the opportunity to explore and learn about university facilities, dining halls, study rooms and libraries accompanied by university students. The tours available follow two alternative routes: one located in the center of Padua and one in the Piovego/hospital area.

Global Citizenship Programme: a 10-hrs Course addressed to International students which will help them to gain confidence with different intercultural skills and their possible applications in daily life or to face the most relevant global challenges. Participants will receive an Open Badge, at the end of the Programme.
