Sportello SAOS

The SAOS (Foreign Guests Reception Service) is a reception desk that assists international students, researchers and teaching staff arriving at the University of Padua with organising and completing the procedures required for a lawful stay in Italy.

Thanks to a specific agreement with the Immigration Office of the Padua Police Headquarters, SAOS offers support with residence permit application procedures. It also provides general information on public and private services available in the city and within the University and maintains contact with the Employment Centre and the One-Stop Desk/UTG Padua, where workers can submit the documentation required to define their status.

The SAOS desk offers specific support to University Departments that intend to host international researchers for a working period.
