SAOS Desk

The SAOS (Foreign Guest Reception Service) is a reception desk that assists students, researchers and international professors arriving at the University of Padua in organizing and completing the procedures necessary for a regular stay in Italy.

Thanks to a specific agreement with the Immigration Office of the Padua Police Headquarters, SAOS offers support in applying for a residence permit. It also provides general information on public and private services in the city and within the University and maintains contacts with the Employment Center and the Sportello Unico/UTG Padua, where workers can deliver the necessary documentation to define their status.

The SAOS desk offers specific support to University Departments that intend to host international researchers for a period of work.
