Reinforcement Learning and Large Language Models for Robotics
The Summer School in "REINFORCEMENT LEARNING AND LARGE LANGUAGE MODELS FOR ROBOTICS" is designed to provide PhD students and young researchers with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills combining artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics. Recent advances in robotics, driven by reinforcement learning and large language models, have enabled robots to perform complex tasks and interact more intuitively with humans. This summer school explores the convergence of these fields, with the aim of training the next generation of robots capable of both learning and communicating in innovative ways.
This week-long school will bring together academic experts, industrial researchers, and emerging scholars to explore the transformative potential of combining reinforcement learning (RL) and large language models (LLMs) in advancing robotic systems. Participants will acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills through practical sessions with real robotic platforms, where they will apply RL algorithms and refine LLMs. This experience will offer valuable insights to address the challenges and opportunities presented by these advanced technologies in real-world environments.
