Venice International University

The University of Padua is a member of the Venice International University (Viu) consortium: a group of universities from all over the world sharing a common campus in Venice.
These Universities devise study programs collegially to prepare their students to face the global challenges of today.

Students who choose to spend a term studying at VIU are taught to move across disciplines and through cultures with a flexibility of approach, an open mind and creative thinking.

The Globalization Program at VIU is the academic program addressed to Bachelor and Master level students. The program brings together talented, motivated students from VIU member universities in a truly multicultural, international, and interdisciplinary environment.

Each term 120-140 students take part, choosing from a course offering of 25+ courses which are English-taught by visiting professors from the member universities and are recognized for credit (6 CFU/ECTS per course).

Students at the University of Padua can join the program and register for courses for free.

The course offering of next semester (February 17-May 31, 2025) is available at https://www.univiu.org/study/globalization-program/courses/spring-2025

Pre-registration is already open via VIU website and the deadline for registration is February 19, 2025.
