Sport at Cus

As part of its initiatives to promote wellbeing and sport, and with the aim of encouraging widespread participation in sport — including at a non-competitive level — among students and staff at the Cus sports facilities, the University supports a membership campaign by offering the entire university community the opportunity to join Cus free of charge for the current year.

Joining CUS Padua means having access to a wide range of activities, services and spaces for competitive and non-competitive sports, as well as recreational activities for all ages (fitness courses, urban dance, athletics, etc.).

Membership gives you the opportunity to take part free of charge, during specific time slots, in no-pay activities using the spaces made available by Cus (athletics, five-a-side football, tennis, basketball, volleyball), and to access paid activities such as the various courses at special prices.

Unipd students have the opportunity, by registering with CUS, to access the facilities free of charge and take part in various activities at no cost at certain times of the day. In particular:

• running (Mon–Fri, 9am–9pm)
• five-a-side football outdoor (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm)
• basketball (indoor Mon–Fri, 9am–4pm; outdoor Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm)
• tennis (Mon–Fri, 8am–2pm)

Staff and students of the University who wish to take part in competitive sporting events organised by the Federazione Italiana di Atletica Leggera or its official affiliates may apply at any time of the year for official FIDAL membership with Cus Padova, at a fee of 30 euros.

Discounts of up to more than 30% for the children of employees and Unipd students.

To ensure and preserve the quality of the service, weekly places are limited.

Membership

Registration for the Summer Centres requires the participant to become a member of CUS Padova, at a one-off cost of €15.00. Membership includes basic and supplementary insurance, the Summer Centres T-shirt, a gadget and a discount voucher for sports items. From the age of 6 onwards, a sports medical certificate is required, including a non-competitive one.

- Sports facilities in via G. Bruno n. 27 (born between 2012 and 2021)

At the via J. Corrado location, the following projects are also active:

- Youth at the Centre, an initiative for young people aged 14 to 16, aimed at helping them socialise and have fun with greater autonomy, while gradually supporting the staff in organising the various activities

Exclusively for the daughters and sons of employees and UNIPD students:

- €90.00 Full Time (30.8% discount)

- €80.00 Part Time (27.3% discount)
