Arqus Cafè: virtual meetings in a foreign language

The European university alliance Arqus, of which the University of Padua is a member, organises "Arqus Café", virtual meetings dedicated to students, where they can meet online and practice foreign languages informally under the guidance of native-speaking tutors.

"Arqus Café" meetings are available for the following languages: Arabic, Belarusian, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.
The meetings last approximately one hour, and participation is free of charge upon registration.

All students from Arqus universities also receive a certificate of attendance.
Further information about Arqus Café is available online.

In addition to this opportunity, the University of Padua also offers the possibility of informal in-person conversations guided by a native speaker, thanks to the "Conversazioni Creattive" project of the University's Language Centre - CLA.
