Arqus Cafè and Arqus courses in foreign languages

The European university alliance Arqus, of which the University of Padua is a member, organizes "Arqus Café", virtual meetings dedicated to students, who can meet online and practice foreign languages informally, under the guidance of native tutors.

There are "Arqus Café" meetings for the following languages: Arabic, Belarusian, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese.

The meetings last about an hour, and participation is free of charge, upon enrolment.

All students of Arqus universities are also given a certificate of attendance.

In addition to this opportunity, the University of Padua also offers the opportunity to have informal conversations in presence led by a native speaker, thanks to the "Creative Conversations" project of the University Language Center.
