This model not only faithfully reproduces the tumour environment but also integrates key components such as immune and support cells, allowing for more accurate drug testing» explains the researcher. Manuele Faccenda's project, named Monitoring crustal stress state from 4D seismic imaging (MODEM) and also funded with €150,000, aims to create software capable of automatically detecting changes in seismic wave velocities caused by the fracturing of crustal rocks. «The methodology we intend to develop will have positive societal impacts as it will improve the monitoring of important geological sites such as volcanic areas, as well as oil and geothermal fields, providing critical information regarding the state of rock fracturing and fluid distribution at depth, which will lead to the possibility of 'predicting' imminent seismic activities» comments Manuele Faccenda.

Partecipa al concorso Tell Your Mobility Story (TYMS) e condividi il tuo viaggio di mobilità internazionale. Dai preparativi del viaggio alle sorprese in aula, fino alle amicizie che dureranno per sempre: libera la tua creatività e fai vedere a tutti cosa significa essere in scambio!
Come funziona:
Partecipare è semplice! Basta creare un breve video (fino a 90 secondi) che racconti un aspetto della tua esperienza di mobilità. Puoi scegliere tra due categorie:
Mobilità Verde – Hai viaggiato in treno, hai scelto un alloggio ecologico o hai adottato abitudini green durante la tua esperienza all’estero? Raccontaci come la sostenibilità ha fatto parte del tuo viaggio. In questa categoria, i migliori partecipanti vinceranno un Pass Interrail per continuare a viaggiare in modo sostenibile!
Storie di Mobilità – Condividi le tue esperienze, le sfide, le vittorie quotidiane e le riflessioni che ti hanno aiutato a crescere come persona.
