FOSTERING INNOVATION
Innovation has always been a key point of our teaching.
Massive investments on the newest infrastructure technologies are being made. The so-called “blended” learning (both online and on-campus) allows all of our students to feel part of our great community, even if they are prevented from being with us physically.

SMART CLASSROOMS
We have invested more than 3 million in renting large, new classrooms and installing live streaming systems in our teaching rooms. They can be used from morning to evening, during the week and on Saturday mornings, to deliver the lectures of all our 199 programmes at the same time.
We believe that learning and higher education are also the result of students and teachers coming together and of living our univer-city.

TEACHING4LEARNING
The University of Padua promotes a tradition of innovation by identifying new and effective strategies to stimulate interaction with its students. University professors have been updating teaching techniques through the Teaching4Learning@Unipd Project. Pioneered in Italy, this innovative teaching tool follows the development lines of the European Union.
The use of this training path enables University of Padua educators to use technological innovation to open the doors of their classrooms and to create a community where they can share their teaching methods and best practices. The project uses observation and comparison of peers by offering a classroom experience with constructive feedback.
INNOVATIVE FOR A LONG TIME. INCLUSIVE BY CHOICE
Unipd offers high quality teaching and rapid digital transformation because, for some time now, it has been working to this end. For three years, Unipd professors have been "going to school": they have attend refreshing courses to learn how to teach with innovative methods, which are not only restricted to the use of technology, but also include a more engaging, direct and empathic relationship with students, in line with EU guidelines.
We are aware that all students are different from one another, which leads to increasingly heterogeneous groups, and we care about promotion of learning environments meeting each one's strengths, by guaranteeing equal access to training, while taking disabilities, health difficulties, stories of migration and other difficult experiences into account, and promoting teaching methods that are increasingly capable of letting everyone experience fair and quality education.
For us, being innovative also means reducing bureaucracy and implementing cutting-edge tools such as Blockcerts degrees: the standard proposed by the MIT Media Lab in Boston, which allows the issue of a digital degree certificate (formalised and stored in a blockchain).
