
The Politics of Migration. An Introductory Summer School
Explore the politics shaping global migration in the heart of the Alps!
Join the Summer School in The Politics of Migration offered by the University of Padua to live an intensive and interdisciplinary experience and tackles today’s most urgent migration policy debates.
The School will adopt a challenge-based learning approach: students will tackle a real-world migration policy issue by developing a policy brief, and work under the guidance of expert faculty.
The programme’s content revolves around five key thematic areas: Migration and Borders, Public Policies and Migrant Inclusion, Migration Politics and Public Opinion, Migration and International Relations, and Policy Advocacy and Engagement — offering a comprehensive and multidisciplinary perspective on contemporary migration challenges.
The School will be held in a stunning Alpine setting, and will combine academic knowledge with practical insight.
Participants will Eengage with leading scholars, international experts, and practitioners from major research networks such as IMISCOE and ECPR through interactive seminars, skill-building workshops, field visits, and team projects — and gain the critical tools needed to understand migration and shape the policies of tomorrow.
