International Relations
The International Relations Area defines, supports and implements the internationalization strategy of the University of Padova, contributing to strengthening its status as a global university and developing an international dimension in all the activities and services offered.
The Area is divided into two Offices and several Sectors, which share different but complementary objectives.
Main activities:
- Planning and management of international promotion activities of the University's brand and degree courses;
- Development and coordination of the global network of representatives who promote the University locally;
- Planning, management and participation in trade fairs for operators (e.g. NAFSA, EAIE) and for students and international students;
- Design and development of online (thematic portals, social networks, etc.) and offline (videos, slides, brochures, etc.) promotional activities for an international audience;
- Development and management of relations with diplomatic missions and Italian schools abroad;
- Conducting market analysis and studies on the main trends and evolutions of higher education systems.

Main activities:

Main activities:
The International Desk is a desk service present in the departments and aimed at international students.
- Support for the recruitment of international students for courses of study taught in English;
- Support in the evaluation of international students' applications to their respective courses of study;
- Reception of international students interested in enrolling in the various courses of study;
- Educational support during the career of international students enrolled in the various courses of study.

Main activities:
- Assistance and technical support for the submission of applications for participation in European and international cooperation projects in the field of training and higher education;
- Management and supervision of Erasmus+ projects;
- Support for training and information activities on issues concerning the internationalization of education and European projects;
- Management of the mobility of lecturers and administrative staff within the Erasmus+ syllabus;
- Support for internationalization activities through funding programs;
- Support for Virtual Exchange programs and Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs).

Main activities:
- Definition of regional strategies to strengthen the University's presence in different geographical areas;
- Management of strategic partnerships and related financing instruments;
- Development, negotiation and stipulation of bilateral agreements with foreign higher education institutions;
- Support to departments in the development, negotiation and conclusion of double degree/joint degree agreements;
- Welcoming delegations and visiting staff;
- Coordination of the European Alliance Arqus at the University of Padova through the planning, management and monitoring of Alliance activities and budgets.
