The laboratory life: discovering the secrets of life between challenges and perseverance

Luca Scorrano is Full Professor of Biochemistry at the Department of Biology at UniPD and is the supervisor of Mauricio Cardenas Rodriguez, MSCA Fellow at the same Department. He is the supervisor of five fellows MSCA in Horizon 2020.

Luca received several prizes and awards, including an ERC grant in 2012, and his work has changed classical tenets in his field of studies.

Mauricio Cardenas Rodriguez is from Mexico. He got a degree in Pharmacological and Biological Chemistry and a Masters in Experimental Biology. He went to the University Glasgow in the UK to do a PhD and now, during his MSCA fellowship, he has joined the Scorrano Lab.
