The Erasmus+ Programme supports teaching staff with mobility grants for teaching periods abroad, provided that an inter-institutional agreement is in place between the University of Padua and the receiving institution abroad for the relevant year.

Europe (KA131)
The Erasmus+ Programme supports teaching staff with mobility grants for short teaching periods abroad at Higher Education Institutions in the Program and Partner Countries. The list of eligible Countries for the academic year of reference, complete with active flows with the institutions that have signed a inter-institutional agreement with the University of Padua, is available at the bottom of the page.
Who can apply: teaching staff (including adjunct professors) of the University of Padua
Duration of the period abroad: according to the Erasmus Guide, there is a minimum 2 days and a maximum of 60 days (excluding travel time). During this time, there is a minimum of 8 hours of teaching per week (or any shorter period of stay). However the call is limited to a maximum period of 14 days including travel days.
Grant: according to the tables of the Programme. It varies according to the travel distance between the University of Padua and the receiving institution, the living costs in the destination country and the duration of the stay. It may also be supplemented by the University.
If the expenses actually incurred are higher than the assigned EU grant, the exceeding part may be supplemented by the Teaching Staff member with its own funds.
How to apply: application procedure online. The applications are assessed by a dedicated committee, and priority is given to applicants who have never applied before.
Closing date for applications ffor 2025/2026 academic year two calls are published: for activities to be carried out between the September 1, 2025, and January 31, 2026, and for activities to be carried out between February 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026.
Mobility deadline: the June 30 of the calendar year following the pubblication of the Call (for the Call 2025/2026 published in March 2025 the deadline is June 30, 2026)
Call and modules (A form)
Two calls for the 2025/2026 academic year.
- For the first call a.y. 2025/2026 the application must be submitted online by Thursday March 27, 2025 – 13:00 PM according to the procedures indicated in the call.
- For the second call a.y. 2025/2026, the application must be submitted from Wednesday October 1, 2025, to Thursday October 30, 2025 – 13:00 PM according to the procedures indicated in the call.
- The new call a.y. 2026/2027 will be open approximately in March 2026.
In the case of researchers recruited with PNRR/NP fund, they can participate only if they do not have other European funds intended for International Mobility, this to avoid any double funding.
The adjunct professor with a VAT number must indicate it on the self-certification of the teaching assignment

The Erasmus+ Programme KA171 supports teaching staff of the University of Padua with mobility grants for teaching periods at higher education institutions in a non-European Programme Country, provided that an inter-institutional agreement is in place between the University of Padua and the receiving institution abroad for the relevant year.
Who can apply: teaching staff (including adjunct professors) of the University of Padua
Duration of the mobility: minimum 5 days and 8 hours of teaching per week - maximum 2 months (excluding travel time).
Grant: according to the tables of the Programme. It varies according to the travel distance between the University of Padua and the receiving institution, and the duration of the stay.
How to apply: applications must be submitted on-line, using the credentials provided by the Projects and Mobility Office. The applications are assessed by a dedicated committee. The teaching staff members under the subject area covered by the inter-institutional agreement in place with the partner university are given priority in the selection process.
Deadline for applications: only one call for applications is published for the entire three-year period to which a given grant relates; the publication period usually falls in the first quarter of the calendar year following the approval of the grant. Deadlines for calls after the first one are indicated in each call.
Deadline for mobility: 31 July of the last calendar year of the three-year period funded by the KA171 Programme; (e.g. funding for the year 2023 lasts from 1/8/2023 to 31/7/2026).
The Calls concerning the grant agreement 2022 (01/08/2022 – 31/07/2025) application must be submitted as follows:
- Call for residual grants will be available from Tuesday 1 October 2024 to Thursday 31 October 2024 by accessing the 2023 funding "online" link.
For the 2023 funding - academic years 2023/2024, 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 - the deadlines for submitting the online application are as follows:
- The first call of March 2024 is closed.
- For the second call, the application must be submitted from Tuesday 1 October 2024 to Thursday 31 October 2024 - according to the procedures indicated in the call.
- For the third call, application must be submitted – from Monday 3 March 2025 to Thursday 27 March 2025.
Access is allowed only to users of the name.surname@unipd.it type.
Incoming
Teaching staff of Partner Universities and staff from enterprises are given the opportunity to spend a teaching period at the University of Padua. The aim is to promote cultural and social enrichment, and to foster the exchange of skills and, especially, of teaching methods and good practices.
Through Erasmus + programme it is possible to invite:
Teaching staff or business experts from Program Countries (EU) - KA131
Teaching staff from Universities of Partner Countries (outside the EU) - KA171
Invitation of teaching staff members from Programme Countries - KA131
The Erasmus+ Programme KA131 provides mobility grants to allow teaching staff of the University of Padua to invite members of staff from E.U. enterprises or teaching staff of European partner universities to teach at the University of Padua. Teaching staff of European partner universities is provided with incoming mobility grants directly by their sending institution.
Who can participate: staff from E.U enterprises/bodies and freelances by prior invitation of a teaching staff member of Padua.
Duration of the mobility: according to the Erasmus Guide, there is a minimum of 1 day and a maximum of 60 days (excluding travel time). During this time, there is no minimum of teaching hours for enterprises/bodies and freelances from Programme Countries required. However, the Call is limited to a maximum period of 14 days including travel time.
Grant: according to the tables of the Programme. It varies according to the travel distance between the University of Padua and the enterprises, and the duration of the stay.

- teaching staff of University of a Programme Country: please refer to the deadline for applications set forth by the university abroad.
Mobility deadline: the 30th of June of the calendar year following the pubblication of the Call (for the Call 2025/2026 published in March 2025 the deadline is 30/06/2026)

Invitation of teaching staff members from Partner Countries - KA171
The Erasmus+ Programme KA171 supports teaching staff of partner institutions located in Partner Countries (non-EU) with mobility grants for teaching periods in Padua, provided that an inter-institutional agreement is in place between the institution and the University of Padua for the relevant year, and by prior invitation of a teaching staff member of the University of Padua.
Who can participate: teaching staff of Partner Country universities
Duration of the mobility: minimum 5 days and 8 hours of teaching per week - maximum 2 months (excluding travel time).
Grant: according to the tables of the Programme. It varies according to the travel distance between the University of Padua and the sending institution, and the duration of the stay.
