Sport at the CUS

As part of the actions to promote well-being and sport and with the aim of encouraging widespread sports practice – even non-competitive – of students and staff at the CUS sports facilities, the University supports an enrolment campaign offering the possibility of free membership of the CUS for the current year to the entire university community. 

Becoming a member of CUS Padua means having access to a wide range of activities, services and spaces for the practice of competitive and non-competitive sports activities, and recreational activities for all ages (fitness courses, urban dance, athletics, etc.).

The membership gives the opportunity to carry out free of charge, in certain time slots, no-pay activities using the spaces made available by the Cus (athletics, 5-a-side football, tennis, basketball, volleyball) and at special prices paid activities such as the various courses.

Access to the activities is governed by the Cus regulations available on the website www.cuspadova.it

It is possible to request free membership to the Cus by filling out a special online form.

Unipd students have the opportunity, with CUS membership, to access the facilities for free and do various activities without payment at particular times of the day. In particular:

• running (Mon-Fri, 9am-9pm)
• 5-a-side outdoor football (Mon-Fri, 9-17)
• basketball (indoorMon-Fri, 9-16; outdoor Mon-Fri, 9-17)
• tennis (Mon-Fri, 8-14)

Staff and students of the University who wish to participate in competitive sports events organized by the Italian Athletics Federation or its official affiliates, are offered the opportunity to request at any time of the year the official FIDAL federal membership to Cus Padua, at a rate of 30 euros.

Registrations are open for the summer sports centers of Cus Padua, now in its 33rd year of activity. Discounts of up to 32% for sons and daughters of Unipd staff, students.

The enrolment to the summer camps requires the membership of the participant to the Cus Padua, whose cost is € 15 one-off. The membership includes basic and supplementary insurance, the t-shirt of the Summer Camps and a discount voucher to be used at the Club House of the lifts. From 6 years of age upwards, a sports medical certificate is required, even if not competitive.

The following projects are also active at the Via J. Corrado campus:

• Youth at the center, an initiative aimed at children aged 14 to 16, to make them socialize and have fun with greater autonomy, gradually supporting the operators in the organization of the various activities
