Sport at Cus

As part of actions to promote wellbeing and sport, and with the aim of encouraging widespread participation in sports activities—including non-competitive activities—by female students, students, and staff at the Cus sports facilities, the University supports a membership campaign by offering the possibility to join Cus free of charge for the current year to the entire university community.

Joining CUS Padua means having access to a wide range of activities, services, and spaces for sports practice, both competitive and non-competitive, as well as recreational activities for all ages (fitness courses, urban dance, athletics, etc.).

Membership gives the possibility to take part free of charge, during certain time slots, in no-pay activities using the spaces made available by Cus (athletics, five-a-side football, tennis, basketball, volleyball), and to access paid activities such as the various courses at special prices.

Access to the activities is governed by the Cus regulations available on the website www.cuspadova.it

It is possible to request free membership to Cus by filling in a dedicated online form.

Unipd students have the opportunity, by registering with CUS, to access the facilities free of charge and take part in various activities at no cost during specific times of the day. In particular:

• running (Mon-Fri, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.)
• outdoor five-a-side football (Mon-Fri, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.)
• basketball (indoor Mon-Fri, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; outdoor Mon-Fri, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.)
• tennis (Mon-Fri, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.)

Staff, female students and students of the University who wish to take part in competitive sports events organized by the Federazione Italiana di Atletica Leggera or its official affiliates are offered the possibility of requesting official FIDAL membership with Cus Padova at any time of the year, at a fee of 30 euros.

Discounts of up to more than 30% for the children of employees, female students and students of UNIPD.

To ensure and preserve the quality of the service, weekly places are limited.

Membership

Registration for the Summer Camps requires the participant to be registered as a member of CUS Padua, at a one-off cost of € 15,00. Membership includes basic and supplementary insurance, the Summer Camps t-shirt, a gadget, and a discount voucher for sports items. From the age of 6 onwards, a sports medical certificate is required, including a non-competitive one.

At the via J. Corrado location, the following projects are also active:

- Giovani al Centro, an initiative aimed at young people aged 14 to 16, to help them socialize and have fun with greater autonomy, while gradually supporting the staff in organizing the various activities

Exclusively for the daughters and sons of employees, female students and students of UNIPD:

- euro 90,00 Full Time (30,8% discount)

- euro 80,00 Part Time (27,3% discount)
