Wellness and Sport: The Padova Marathon

On April 26, 2026, the Padova Marathon returns, celebrating its 25th anniversary and University of Padua will also participate.

As usual, UniPD staff and students can run on behalf of the University of Padua without paying registration costs, limited to the places available, for the Full Marathon (26 miles/42.195 km), the Half Marathon (13 miles/21.097 km), and for the Stracittadine, non-competitive 10, 5, and 1 km races, and 10Crono race following the order of arrival of the registrations.

Those running on behalf of the University receive a free pectoral bib number and t-shirt.

For the Stracittadine and 10Crono race more information will be posted soon.

Registration for the Marathon and Half Marathon is now open.

How to Register 

  Marathon and Half Marathon - How to Register

Marathon and Half Marathon (competitive races)

  1. Please complete the online Pre-application Form – Full Marathon and Half Marathon, before 2 pm on Friday, February 6, 2026
  1. Once pre-registrations are closed, selected runners will receive a confirmation e-mail and information on how to complete the registration form
  2. To finalize your registration you will need to register and complete the online registration form at Padova Marathon, using the personal, unique, non-transferable code provided with your e-mail.

PLEASE NOTE: All registrants must have a FIDAL membership (company, company code, card number) or Runcard membership (card number) and hold a medical certificate for competitive Athletics sport activity that is valid up until April 26, 2026 (for more info: Marathon and Half Marathon).

Non-members can request to receive a FIDAL membership from the CUS Padova (more information will be sent by e-mail), membership cost through CUS Padova is 30 euros.
