Development cooperation
The University of Padua promotes various forms of and activities for development cooperation, including:
- Student mobility incoming to and outgoing from/to low- and middle-income countries במסגרת the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme, bilateral agreements, double or joint degree agreements, and cooperation programmes promoted by external bodies;
- Staff mobility incoming to and outgoing from/to low- and middle-income countries, through dedicated funding calls (Teaching Staff Mobility under Bilateral Agreements calls);
- Hosting scholars who hold political asylum or international protection, or who are considered to be at risk (Unipd Scholars at Risk)
- Hosting degree-seeking students from low- and middle-income countries, with dedicated support and services including various merit- and/or income-based scholarships;
- Summer Schools in collaboration with partner universities;
- Cooperation projects funded by the European Commission (e.g. Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building, Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange, Erasmus Mundus Action);
- Participation in Transnational Initiatives in education projects (MUR-PNRR-TNE);
- Regional development strategies;
- Participation in international networks active in the field of development cooperation (e.g. CUCS, UNIMED, Coimbra Group, UniAdrion, Scholars at Risk).
