COMMON DATES AND DEADLINES FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026

  • Start of the academic year: Wednesday, October 1, 2025
  • Start of teaching activities: Monday, September 29, 2025

For organisational and teaching efficiency reasons, the competent teaching structures may:

  • bring forward the start of teaching activities to Monday, September 22, 2025, with notice given on their website by Tuesday, August 26, 2025
  • postpone the start and end of teaching activities with notice given on their website by Tuesday, September 16, 2025

The teaching activities of nationally restricted-access degree programmes may start after Monday, 29 September 2025, dependng on the admission procedures.

Suspension of teaching activities:

  • All Saints' Day: Saturday, November 1, 2025
  • Feast of the Immaculate Conception: Monday, December 8, 2025
  • Christmas holidays: from Wednesday, December 24, 2025 to Tuesday, January 6, 2026
  • Easter holidays: from Friday, April 3, 2026 to Tuesday, April 7, 2026
  • Liberation Day: Saturday, April 25, 2026
  • Labour Day: Friday, May 1, 2026
  • Giustinianea Day: Monday, June 1, 2026
  • Italian Republic Day: Tuesday, June 2, 2026
  • Summer holidays: from Saturday, August 8 to Tuesday, August 18, 2026
  • Feast day of the Patron Saint in the provincial capitals where teaching activities take place:

ENROLMENT AND REGISTRATION FOR YEARS FOLLOWING THE FIRST YEAR (This information is not valid for incoming exchange students)

The dates for enrolment in the first year o degree programmes (matriculations) are determined through the respective admission notices.

Registration for years following the first year must be completed by Tuesday, September 30, 2025 with payment of the first instalment of fees.

Students who graduate by Saturday, December 13, 2025 are exempt from paying the first instalment.

Classes are organised either in semesters or in trimesters, depending on regulations that
applies to the specific class. Every single class can begin/end in different dates within common
intervals

Winter exam session: from Monday 1 December 2025 to Saturday 20 December 2025

Second trimester:

Third trimester:
Classes: from Wednesday 8 April 2026 to Friday 12 June 2026
