This year, 2025, the Race UP Team from the University of Padua celebrates twenty years of activity in the field of Formula SAE, an international competition for university students who design and build racing car prototypes. Over these years, the team has produced more than 20 prototypes, evolving from internal combustion vehicles to full electric models and, more recently, to autonomous driving and hybrid powertrains.

Quest’anno 2025 il Race UP Team dell'Università di Padova partecipa a tre eventi internazionali: con la vettura Hybrid agli eventi di FS Austria e FS Alpe Adria, e con la vettura Electric agli eventi di Formula Student East e FS Alpe Adria. Le prove dinamiche valutano accelerazione, tenuta in curva, velocità su giro, affidabilità ed efficienza, mentre le prove statiche esaminano costi, business plan e design tecnico. Unipd supporta il progetto con risorse economiche e riconosce agli studenti e studentesse partecipanti un Open Badge, certificando le soft skills acquisite.
L'Università di Padova dal 2005 supporta attivamente il progetto partecipando con il Race UP Team, che ogni anno innova e concorre nel competitivo scenario della Formula SAE, continuando a promuovere innovazione, formazione e cultura del motorsport.
