This summer programme will allow you to learn how to conduct experiments, analyse neural and behavioural data, and communicate results effectively.

You will explore EEG, fNIRS, motion tracking, VR, and brain-computer interfaces in a hands-on, interdisciplinary setting and deal with Master Python, R, Quarto, and Shiny Apps to dive into text analysis and machine learning.

This School will allow you to connect with leading researchers from top institutions like the Universities of Trento and Graz (Arqus Alliance) and attend expert-led seminars on neuroethics and emerging trends in cognitive neuroscience.

Module 1: Experimental design + neuroscientific methods (EEG, fNIRS, motion tracking, VR) Seminars on movement and emotion analysis
Module 2: Programming (Python, R), Quarto for reporting, Shiny Apps, text analysis, ML - Includes a seminar on neuroethics

TargetMaster’s and PhD students
Minimum number of participants: TBC

Location: Padua, Psychology Campus

ECTS6, only for participants who attend both modules and pass the final exam

Fee: 500 euros per week / 20% fee waiver for students of partner universities / 50% fee waiver for Arqus students (including UNIPD students). A maximum number of waivers might apply.
