This Master's course, taught in English, will allow you to deepen your knowledge of the fundamental elements of modern physics (nuclear physics and fundamental interactions, condensed matter physics, biophysics and nanoscience), theoretical physics (quantum and statistical mechanics) and numerical methods for physics. You will gain direct experience of standard laboratory techniques, computer-based calculation techniques and data analysis. You will learn the principal physical theories in terms of their logical and mathematical structure, experimental evidence and the resulting modelling of physical phenomena. You will find job opportunities in industries that use or invest in innovative technologies in any area, from manufacturing to service companies, or that require an understanding and modelling of processes, as well as analytical and testing skills.
