Spending a study period abroad is a wonderful opportunity that we encourage you to take: it will give you the chance to come into contact with different cultural environments, enrich yourself, deepen your knowledge of languages, and gain independence, confidence and decision-making skills.
Over the years, we have strengthened an extensive network of contacts with other universities around the world: from Europe to Australia, from the Usa to China, from Russia to Brazil, and many other countries.
If you would like to have an experience abroad, we can offer you a wide range of opportunities.
The Erasmus+ programme is certainly the European initiative that can offer you the widest range of possible destinations: in fact, there are around 500 partner universities in Europe and across the rest of the world. In this context, Unipd is the second university in Italy by number of participants in the programme: every year, more than 2,000 Unipd students take part in an Erasmus experience abroad, and almost 1,400 arrive here from other European universities.
And now it is even easier to take part thanks to Open Arqus Mobility, which opens up privileged access to the other universities in the European Arqus consortium: Granada, Graz, Lione 1, Lipsia, Maynooth, Minho, Vilnius and Breslavia.
The Ulisse programme allows you to spend periods not only studying, or carrying out research for your thesis, but also undertaking a traineeship at universities in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Oceania.
At the end of your course of study, you can also undertake internships and traineeships abroad, either within the framework of Erasmus or through special calls for this type of mobility, or thanks to our “Vetrina degli stage all’estero”.

We have a great many study programmes in Italian, as well as a very rich international degree courses offering.
With us, you can choose from more than 900 courses taught in English. You can also enrol in bachelor’s degree programmes, master’s degree programmes and single-cycle master’s degree programmes entirely taught in English.
Naturally, for those who already hold a degree, there is also the opportunity to access master’s programmes and international PhD courses.
