Welcome and admissions tests
The Student Service Office is in charge of welcoming future students with special needs: disabilities, specific learning disorders, and other health conditions. Since the presence of disabilities, learning difficulties or other conditions may involve additional efforts, the University of Padua provides various supports for study and active participation in university life.
- enter your certification/diagnosis data by clicking on "enter certification data" during the pre-enrollment procedure in Uniweb or at any time during your university career.
- submit the certification by following the directions on the dedicated page.
Admission tests
For information on deadlines and procedures related to enrollment in degree programs at the University of Padua, it is necessary to read the admission notices. Information about degree programs, Masters, PhD and other courses is available on this web page.
If you have a particularly complex condition, it is suggested that you request an interview with the staff of the Inclusion Unit using the online appointment request form.
Italian laws 17/1999 and 170/2010 allow candidates with a valid certification pursuant to Law 104/92 and/or the Italian Certificate of Invalidity or a certified diagnosis of specific learning disorder (SLD) to request a personalized entrance test. Other Special Educational Needs, for example ADHD, are not eligible for a personalized entrance test, as they are not recognized by current regulations related to the university pathway, unless a specific learning disorder is concurrently present in the certificate.
If you are resident abroad and you do not have an Italian certificate or diagnosis pursuant to the above mentioned Italian Laws, you may have to submit via email to inclusione.studenti@unipd.it a legalized certification, where required by current international regulations, attesting the state of invalidity or learning difficulties, issued in the country of residence, accompanied by a sworn or certified translation from the Italian diplomatic representations, conforming to the original text, in Italian or English. The Student Services Office - Inclusion Unit, in charge of examining such certifications, ascertains that the foreign documentation certifies a condition of disability, impairment or learning difficulty recognized by Italian law.
To apply for a personalized entry test, you must submit your certification/diagnosis by following the directions below.
For those who have chosen the University of Padua to take the TOLC
During the activation process within the CISIA portal, tools and/or supports that you need in order to take the test must be indicated.
