Reception and admissions tests

 The Student Services Office deals with the needs of future and current students in a vulnerable situation.

The University of Padova is aware that disabilities or learning difficulties may require students to make an additional effort, thus it offers a range of support to aid study and active participation in university life.

An interview with dedicated staff enables your individual needs to be assessed so that you can sit admissions tests confidently and benefit fully from your degree course. Contact details for making an appointment are published at the bottom of the page.

If you feel you need aid, support or compensatory measures to sit an admissions test, you can: 


Entrance tests to nationally planned degree courses
(Medicine and surgery and Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, Veterinary Medicine, Building Engineering and Architecture, Degree courses in health professions, Science of Primary Education)

 Candidates with disabilities or learning difficulties who are legally entitled to take the admission test with additional time, if they consider it appropriate, may ask to take the test in a dedicated classroom, designed to better manage the additional time.

To make an explicit request it is necessary to send an e-mail to as soon as possible (in any case within the deadline of the pre-registration in Uniweb indicated in the Admission Notice) with this subject: "Classroom request dedicated to additional time".


Further information:

  • All your information and documentation will be treated confidentially and processed under current privacy regulations;
  • Certificates need be submitted once only and remain valid until they expire;
  • Reductions to student fees apply automatically to subsequent academic years;
  • Replacement certificates must be submitted as soon as possible;
  • If you have paid more than the amount due, contact Student Services, or consult the dedicated page as soon as possible to apply for your fees to be reimbursed.
