Call 2024/25

  Partner Universities

Candidates are required to consult on their own the websites of partner Universities, paying particular attention to:

1) the course units on offer, in order to choose which exams they would like to sit abroad and that must be drafted in the mandatory activity proposal which must be uploaded for the application.

2) language pre-requisites:  candidates must check the language level asked by the partner University and if a proof of language proficiency/certificate is mandatorily required.

Destination universities are available in the new interactive platform:

You must select your course of study from the Study field drop-down menu. 
In the platform, the total number of months indicated under Number for each agreement must be divided by the number of available places indicated under Total number.
It is necessary to note down all relevant information (e.g. Erasmus code, Academic Coordinator, ISCED/area of study) in order to select the correct destination in Uniweb.

  Application Process

Students of the School of Psychology can choose two destinations, listing priority 1, 2. When a candidate will be granted an Erasmus for Studies scholarship, he/she will win for one destination only.

Before submitting their application, candidates are required to consult very carefully the web pages of the partner Universities in order to define the activity proposal for the mobility period. For each destination the draft should contain the list of course units in their original title (in the foreign or vehicular language) and the number of credits for each course, if available. If the number of credits is not available or not easy to find, only the title of the activity may be listed. Candidates are not asked to write down in the draft the course units of their Unipd Study Plans matching with courses on offer at the partner universities. Drafts listing not existing courses or course not available to exchange students as well as illegible and blank drafts will not be taken into consideration, and the application will be ineligible for the selection.

The activity proposal is independently prepared by the student – without any supervision of the Departmental Coordinator of the Responsible Person for their study programme and of the Mobility Desk at the School. It must contain an amount of about 30 ECTS credits (30 CFU) for students with a single-semester mobility, or about 60 ECTS (60 CFU) for students with a year-long mobility. Drafts of less than 30 credits per semester are permitted only for students that are carrying out their mobility in their 3rd year of their Bachelor programme, or the 2nd year of their Master programme.

Candidates who want to leave in the first year of their Master programme must write down the name of the Master programme they are interested in, filling up the relevant box in the Proposal of studies activities form. Failure to provide this information will not make the application invalid, but the candidate will have less priority in the ranking.
Candidates that will sit any language test (TAL) offered by CLA, must indicate the date in which it will take place in the added declarations section. Without this data the score for language skills cannot be recovered and added to the merit score.

Students that previously agreed on a thesis work and/or internship activities must attach to their application the appropriate form, signed by both the thesis supervisor (or internship tutor) and by the Academic Coordinator of the exchange in Padova. The name of the tutor abroad must also be provided in the form. Attention: these students are obliged to verify, together with their Academic Coordinator, that the partner University does allow thesis and internship work within the Erasmus+ for studies programme. If it is not possible, students are invited to consider the Call for Erasmus+ Traineeship.

Warning: those who switched to the new qualifying system or who are directly enrolled  in it (2023/2024 enrollments) CANNOT do an internship abroad in the frame of the Erasmus+ for Studies mobility.

  Admissions and selection criteria

As well as the general criteria indicated in the Erasmus+ mobility for studies Call, there are also criteria specific to each School, available in the files below, that students must consult.

Regarding the agreements available in the interactive web portal, please note that degree courses specified for every destination have priority over others in the assigning of places.

Candidates are furthermore invited to read carefully all the info in the Information of Agreement section for every agreement.

  List of successful applicants

The list of successful and eligible candidates takes into consideration the priority of choice of the destination. Each candidate can choose up to two different destinations by assigning a priority order (1, 2): the allocation of available scholarships takes place considering the priority

The lists will be published exclusively on the Erasmus+ for studies page.

This will be the only method of publication. There will be no personal communications, neither written nor by telephone.

  Learning agreement

The Learning Agreement is the official document used for the full-recognition of educational activities carried out abroad and it must be filled out by awarded students only. The instructions for filling it out on Uniweb are available on the page: Submitting and changing the Learning Agreement.

The Learning Agreement must be drafted independently by the student, based on the course units offered by the partner University taking into account the rules stated in the appropriate handbook. Once completed, it will be assessed by the Responsible Person for the Study Programme. The list of Responsible Persons and specific info on how to prepare the Learning agreement for Psychology students, is available on Moodle Erasmus+Studio/SEMP.

Once the Learning Agreement is visible in the ‘Approved’ status the student will have to send it to the Receiving Institution, according to the timing outlined, for the final approval of the partner University. After the student receives it countersigned by the Receiving institution, he/she must upload it saved as a PDF file on '"Area Studenti" on Area Relazioni Internazionali - Mobility Office.

Every amendment to the first Learning Agreement must be approved according to the rules about the Learning Agreement “During the Mobility”, outlined in the instructions given above.

Once the change is visible in the state “Approved”, the student must print it and have it signed by the relevant office or relevant person at the partner Institution, then send it as a PDF file to the Mobility Desk at the School of Psychology:

  Recognition of exams sat abroad

Exams will be recorded basing on the last Learning Agreement approved on Uniweb, and on the Transcript of Records. For the conversion of foreign grades to the Italian grading system according to European rules, please consult the page Conversion of the grades and ECTS tables.

The Responsible Person for the Study Programme is in charge of grades recording. The Mobility Desk at the School of Psychology will contact students about the recording procedure only when it will receive the protected file of the Transcript of Records by the central Mobility Unit.
