From Sustainable Technology of Materials for Industrial Applications to Rehabilitation in Thermal Environments and Wellness and Lifestyle Medicine, from Metaverse and Legal Computer Science to School Psychology, the University of Padua offers 24 new master degree programs (out of a total of 111) with time still remaining to pre-register before 6 October.

The recently published AlmaLaurea Report, which profiles and shares employment rates of Italian university graduates, shows that 82.3% of holders of a Master's Degree from the University of Padua find employment and earn an average of 1,823 euros per month within the first year after graduation.

Prof Marta Ghisi, Delegate for Short Specialisation Programmes, Professional Courses, and Continuing Education explains, “Our offer aims to identify and anticipate the needs of a rapidly changing labour market. This data confirms the positive outcome of choices made. Our profile demonstrates the satisfaction of graduates with their studies and the value of their achievements. This allows us to say that our Master’s degree programs have kept their promises by meeting the expectations of those who attended our University. These results push us to continue evaluating the effectiveness of our offering. This is our starting point, and for us to continue improving, there is no end in sight.”

TWO OUT OF THREE GRADUATES ARE FROM OTHER UNIVERSITIES

AlmaLaurea collects its data from a sample of answers provided for by 1619 recent graduates (of which two thirds are women), whose average age for obtaining the master's degree is 34.6 years old,  32.4 years for first level graduates, and 36.6 years for second level graduates. The University of Padua attracts 62% of graduates from other Italian universities and 4% from abroad. 91.8% of graduates evaluate the topics covered in class as useful for their profession, 88.9% believe that they have been provided with adequate knowledge and skills with respect to the reference professional figure.

HIGH EMPLOYMENT RATES (AND GOOD SALARIES)

The data shows that the employment rate is also very high, according to the answers of 977 recent graduates.
