Mobility abroad for course units
The University of Padova offers its lecturer staff the opportunity to carry out a period of course unit abroad at partner universities, with the aim of encouraging the exchange of skills and cultural and social enrichment, and above all to generate opportunities for discussion on course unit methodologies and exchange of good practices.
The Erasmus+ syllabus provides lecturers with mobility grants for teaching periods abroad, provided that the University has previously signed an inter-institutional agreement for the reference year with the host foreign institution.

Since 2014, the University has joined the Swiss European Mobility Programme (SEMP) with agreements that provide for the mobility of University of Padova professors to Swiss universities.
The University of Padova, as part of its policy to promote internationalization, offers lecturers the opportunity to carry out a period of mobility abroad, for study and research, at a European or non-European university with which a Bilateral Agreement is active.
The Fulbright Italy Commission promotes academic exchanges between Italy and the United States by offering scholarships to Italian and U.S. citizens for study, research and course units at American campuses and Italian universities.

The University of Padova joins the Uniadrion consortium (officially inaugurated in 2020); The Consortium brings together thirteen Italian universities and aims to connect the institutions, academic communities and civil societies of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia through the mobility of individuals and dissemination projects designed together.
The Consortium has obtained funds from the European Commission to implement its activities in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme and offers scholarships for university students and teaching/training grants reserved for staff

The Ministry of University and Research (MUR) promotes, as part of the Cultural Protocols with foreign countries, study visits for Italian university professors to foreign institutions. The visits aim to strengthen cultural collaborations and joint research projects.
Key information
- Maximum duration of visits: 8 days
- Reimbursed by the MUR: travel expenses only (airfare in economic ministerial field of study code)
- Subsistence expenses: to be paid by the host university and/or the participating lecturer
- Priority: teachers who have not already benefited from the grant and visits that start new collaborations
