Erasmus+ for course units in Europe (KA131)
The Erasmus+ KA131 syllabus provides lecturers with mobility grants for short periods of course units at higher education institutions in Programme and Partner Countries . The list of eligible countries for the academic year complete with active flows with foreign institutions signed by an inter-institutional agreement with our University can be consulted at the bottom of the page.
Who can participate: professors, also on contract, of the University of Padova. Researchers hired with Pnrr/Pon funds can participate only if they do not have other European funds for international mobility to avoid any double funding.
Duration of the period abroad: the Erasmus+ Guide provides for a minimum of 2 consecutive days of activities and a maximum of 60 days (excluding travel). However, the Notice limits the maximum period to 14 days including travel. During the period, there is a minimum number of 8 hours of course units per week for periods of up to 7 days of duration excluding travel (or for shorter stays); the minimum hours of lessons become 4 for periods of up to 7 days of duration excluding travel (or for shorter stays) in the case of Teaching Staff combined with training activities, for which there is no minimum limit of hours.
Contribution: calculated on the basis of the tables of the Programme. Variable according to the distance between the University of Padova and the host campus, the cost of living of the destination country and the duration of stay. If the expenditure actually incurred is higher than the allocated contribution, the participating person may co-finance the difference.
Health care and insurance: for health insurance coverage during your stay abroad in European Union countries and in Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway in general, it is sufficient to carry the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) issued by the Ministry of Health. Non-EU citizens registered and dependent on the National Health Service (SSN) cannot use the EHIC in Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein as it is not provided for by current EU legislation (EC regulation 859/2003). They are therefore invited to contact their local health authority (ASL) in any case. Non-EU citizens who are not registered with the NHS must have adequate health coverage.
How to participate: applications must be submitted exclusively by filling out the online form.
The procedure is accessible via login (SingleSignOn username and password - the same as e-mail). All required fields must be filled in and the required files must be attached.
