Experimental thesis projects for L and LM students
1) Large 3D printing of artificial stone and ceramic components with BJ technology (in collaboration with Desamanera - http://www.desamanera.com/it). Activities at UNIPD
2) Innovative bricks with low environmental impact (in collaboration with a company). Activities at UNIPD
3) 3D printing of glass with DLP technology (in cooperation with a foreign company). Activities at UNIPD
4) 3D printing of glass and ceramics with VAM technology (in collaboration with a foreign company). Activities at UNIPD
5) Ceramic components for brakes (in collaboration with a company). Activities at UNIPD
6) Gas adsorption on ceramic components produced through additive manufacturing (in collaboration with a company). Activity to be carried out partly at UNIPD and partly at the company (near Pordenone)
7) Composites with geopolymer matrix, reinforced with fibers (in collaboration with Trucker srl - https://trucker.it). Activities at the company (near Piove di Sacco)
8) Production of ceramic targets for the generation of radioactive beams (in collaboration with INFN-LNL). Activities at INFN-LNL, Legnaro (PD)
9) Additive manufacturing and characterization of ceramic components for supercapacitors (in collaboration with Prof. Gurpreet Singh, Kansas State University, USA). Thesis to be carried out in part at KSU (June-August period) - the American professor pays for the accommodation.
10) Manufacturing of graphite-based components for pumps (in collaboration with a company). Activity to be carried out at UNIPD
11) Additive manufacturing of Ceramic Matrix Composites (in collaboration with a company, with the potential of continuing with a PhD on the same topic). Activity to be carried out at UNIPD
