The Museum of Anthropology collection tells a story of the origins of humanity.  A narrative that speaks of the ancestral primates that adapted to walking upright, to the first examples of tools made from stone and metal, and on the long journey that led us from Africa toward every corner of the Earth.

The Museum of Anthropology's role is to disseminate its knowledge of humanity to a broad audience, sharing what has come to us from the past and ensuring that it reaches future generations.

The Museum of Anthropology collections includes ancient artifacts and perishable finds that require great care and attention for their preservation.

We must all take responsibility for the conservation of the precious collection found in the Museum of Anthropology.
