Enroll in a Master's Degree Course
On this page you will find a description of the main steps to participate in the selections and access the master's degree courses; The specific information for each course is instead reported in the notices or calls for admission, the official documents to refer to for enrolment.
These documents also contain the information necessary to participate in the selections; the deadlines to be met, the links to the portals to be accessed or registered, the curricular and personal preparation requirements to be met for each course and information on taking any admission tests.
Three-year or single-cycle courses have a different process, you can find the information on the dedicated page.
Students with a foreign qualification who wish to enrol at the University of Padova must follow specific procedures.

To access the master's degree courses it is always necessary to be in possession of curricular requirements and a personal preparation, determined for each degree course, to be in possession of before access.
The evaluation is made on the basis of previous academic career and any certifications; For some courses, admission tests (or interviews) may also be provided.
To participate in the selections, it is necessary to complete the following mandatory procedures: submit the pre-enrolment application, the application for assessment of curricular requirements and carry out any tests or interviews provided.

After submitting and confirming the application for the assessment of the requirements, you will receive a judgment of suitability with respect to what is required by the course of your interest, or indications on how to make up for any curricular deficiencies.
For courses with limited access (with a limited number of places), in addition to the assessment of the requirements, merit rankings are formed and, to access the course, you will have to be admitted. It may happen that you are not admitted to the initial ranking, but win a place in a subsequent reassignment. It is therefore crucial to keep an eye on reassignments and sign up for repechages when available.
For open access courses there is no ranking, you can enrol after you have been assigned the eligibility for enrolment.
The notice or announcement of admission for each course contains the procedures for assigning eligibility, the procedures for participating in the selections for courses with limited access and those for forming the rankings, as well as the deadlines to be met and the instructions for completing all the required steps.
Step 3. Enrolment
Once you have obtained admission, you can apply for enrolment, change of course or incoming transfer.
Remember that also for this phase there are procedures and deadlines that may vary for each course, you will find them indicated, as for the other phases of the selection, in the notice or in the call for admission prepared for each course.
To complete the procedure, you must wait for the confirmation email of your enrolment, which will arrive within a few working days from the submission of the enrolment application: it contains the matriculation number and the email @studenti.unipd.it.
The academic year starts on October 1st of each year, some courses may start classes in the week before or after. For more information: www.unipd.it/orario-lezioni.
