General Course for Unipd staff training

The University offers the opportunity to attend some courses known as General Course focused on topics of particular relevance and current interest. The General Course are interdisciplinary training and learning opportunities that enable the acquisition of transferable skills and offer the possibility to broaden one’s knowledge.

The University of Padua reserves free places for staff who choose to enrol in selected General Course.
 

Technical and administrative staff may also have their attendance recognised as a training activity, subject to passing the exam. For this activity to be recognised within staff training, authorisation from their manager is required. 
Authorisation is not required for enrolment, but it is necessary if the person intends to attend the course, even only in part, during working hours. Likewise, authorisation is required if they wish to enter code 199 outside working hours. 

For the academic year 2025/2026 these courses are:

• Sustainability Ambassadors. Knowing, promoting and practising sustainability
• Gender, knowledge and social justice
• Peace and the non-violent transformation of conflicts
