What are General Courses?

The General Courses represent training and learning opportunities of an interdisciplinary nature, aimed at the entire academic community, which allow the acquisition of transversal skills, indicated by the European Union as the fundamental skills to "better prepare people for changes in labour markets and active citizenship in global, more differentiated, mobile and digital societies, and consequently to develop learning at all stages of life", and the possibility of expanding one's knowledge in areas other than those of one's degree course.

The General Courses are open to students of all three-year and master's degree courses of the University of Padova and are configured as elective exams at the end of which there is a final assessment.

In addition, for some of these, the University reserves some free places for employees; The technical and administrative staff can see attendance recognized as a training activity, after passing the exam (online information).

As a single course, the general course can be attended by those who wish to do so.
