Forest science - a.y. 2020/21

The Master’s degree proposes a holistic, innovative and international vision on the management and conservation of forests and natural resources. The programme provides a wide understanding of the functioning of forest ecosystems, skills for sustainable and responsible management of forests and rural landscape, capacity to interpret complex socio-ecological systems and to identify innovative solutions for environmental management in line with the major local and global environmental issues.

  Career opportunities

Graduates work in public and private institutions as forest planners and managers in the field of sustainable management of forests, natural and semi-natural habitats, land management and protection, landscape management, use and valorisation of forest resources and ecosystems services, nationally or internationally.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with proven basic skills in ecological, silvicultural, economic and technical areas for natural resources management, production processes and land conservation

  Language requirements

English language: B2 level (CEFR) or equivalent

  • First Call for Applications - a.y. 2020/21: 7th January-7th March 2020
  • Second Call for Applications - a.y. 2020/21: 7th April-7th June 2020 (NON-EU applicants residing outside Italy)/7th July 2020 (EU applicants or equivalent)

Application fee

The payment of the application fee (€30,00) is a compulsory step to complete your application. The application fee is non-refundable. If you wish to apply for more than one programme, you need to pay the application fee for each course you are applying for.

  Tuition fees

Information on 2020/21 fees is not yet available, but the amounts will be more or less the same of 2019/20. Please check: www.unipd.it/en/tuition-fees.
