OVERVIEW
The inter-university Master's degree programme in Viticulture, Enology and Wine Marketing is designed as an advanced pathway that enhances and develops the knowledge and skills acquired in the viticulture-enology sector or in the agricultural and food fields. Its aim is to provide critical and operational training in viticulture, enology, the economic organization of the wine sector, and the valorisation of territorial typicity, through an approach that integrates research, innovation, wine marketing, and the management of environmental and territorial challenges. Graduates are therefore trained to acquire solid and in-depth preparation in the fields of economics applied to the wine sector, viticulture, enology, and quality control, along with professional proficiency in the English language to operate effectively in international markets.

The master’s degree programme offers the following study tracks:
- Economy and marketing in wine business
- Identity, typicality, terroir
- New frontiers in viticulture enology
- Research and development for a sustainable viticulture
- Research and development in enology
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
The programme prepares graduates for the following professions:
- Agronomists
- Researchers and graduate technicians in agricultural sciences.
Pursuant to Presidential Decree no. 328 of 05/06/2001 and the correspondence established by Ministerial Decree no. 386 of 26/07/2007, this Master’s degree constitutes the requirement for admission to the State Examination; passing the examination allows registration in the Professional Register of Agronomists and Foresters, in “Section A – Agronomist and Forester,” and the practice of the corresponding profession.
