A multidisciplinary course held in English as a respond to the new European and global situation that is in need of professionals capable of designing, managing, and coordinating the activities related to the functioning of decision-making processes at various levels of government and to come up with original responses to emerging problems. This course offers students the knowledge and the skills needed in the legal, economic, political, philosophical, historical, and linguistic fields. Students will acquire the necessary tools to understand the dynamics of European integration and the process of globalization and its national and international impact. Students will be able to operate within different fields, such as European institutions, international organizations, NGOs, and public administration.

Characteristics and objectives
The degree provides advanced knowledge and specific skills that enable students to develop original and analytically grounded responses to emerging problems on the European and global political scene, with particular reference to the communication and management of public and private organisations. The knowledge and skills provided by the Course in the fields of law, economics, political science, philosophy, history and linguistics aim to provide graduates with the necessary tools to understand the dynamics of European integration and the various dimensions of globalisation.
Job opportunities
European and Global Studies graduates work as social and political problem-solvers, critical policy analysts, team managers, communication managers, project developers and managers, and managers in public, private, and academic bodies. Graduates become versatile professionals, adept at solving social and political issues, analysing policies critically, and managing teams and projects in various sectors. They excel in devising and managing EU projects, handling partnerships across different levels, applying analytical methods to complex situations, formulating public policies, evaluating impacts, designing communication campaigns, analysing and supporting institutional change, and conducting research on political phenomena.

Double degree opportunities
Students enrolled in this Master's degree course will be offered the opportunity to apply for two double degree programmes in European and Global studies, one with Sciences Po Grenoble (France) and one with the Jagiellonian University of Krakow (Poland) in order to obtain, over the course of two years, two degrees: the Master's Degree in European and Global Studies (UNIPD) and the Diplôme de l'Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Grenoble Parcours European Governance (Sciences Po Grenoble) or the Master of European Studies (Jagiellonian University).
