Certifications

At public administrations it is generally necessary to deliver self-certifications (declarations in lieu of certification): according to current legislation (Presidential Decree 445/2000 and subsequent amendments), from 1 January 2012 public administrations and managers of public services can no longer request or accept certificates produced by other public offices from private individuals.

Certificates are official documents issued by the University that attest to information relating to the careers of students of the University of Padua.

The issue of digital certificates of graduation (Blockcerts) for graduates of some courses of study is being implemented.

The Open Badges are digital certificates, of disciplinary knowledge, personal skills (soft skills) and technical skills acquired.

For all graduates, the Degree Diploma is issued in a single copy (parchment).

For graduates of current degree course regulations (in accordance with DD.MM. 509/1999 and 270/2004) the Diploma Supplement is also available, i.e. an information report in a bilingual version that provides a description of the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies carried out and completed according to a standard 8-point model. developed on the initiative of the European Commission, the Council of Europe and UNESCO.

The University of Padua makes available to public administrations and managers of public services (art. 43 DPR 445/2000), in online mode, the data in its possession regarding those who study and those who have already graduated so that the declarations in lieu of certification and the declarations in lieu of affidavit can be verified, and in general consult the data relating to numerous types of qualifications and careers.
