Showcase of internships abroad

We update a "showcase" where it is possible to consult the offers reserved for students and those who have already graduated from the University of Padova. To consult the showcase and apply for an offer, it is necessary to access the reserved area, using the username and password of the University e-mail. For each application, an email will be sent with the outcome of the pre-selection.

For internship offers abroad, it is also possible to record a "video course track" in a foreign language, which can be viewed together with the data of the electronic course track. Foreign companies will be able to contact candidates for a remote interview, using software made available by the University.

Calls for applications for mobility grants

Through the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility action, the University of Padova is calling for 6 scholarships for internships in Albania, Bosnia, USA.
The Call for applications is open to students enrolled in bachelor's, master's and single-cycle degree courses. It is not possible to carry out post-graduate mobility with this call.
The scholarship is awarded for internships with credits. 
The minimum duration of the mobility for traineeship is 2 months, to be completed by 31 July 2027.

The call for applications of the SEND Consortium makes available to students of all degree courses, 60 Erasmus+ mobility grants for traineeships abroad lasting from two to three months, to be held  between 15 September 2026 and 28 February 2027.
The scholarships are aimed at the development of professional skills attributable to social, technological and economic innovation understood as the set of activities, strategies and innovative ideas aimed at triggering economic, social and technological change and development in the twin green and digital transitions.

As for the University call, it is not possible to carry out mobility in the Universities of the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

The network of educational institutions abroad is a resource for the promotion of the Italian language and culture, as well as for the maintenance of the cultural identity of the daughters and sons of compatriots and citizens of Italian origin. Present all over the world, Italian  Schools represent a tool for the dissemination of ideas, projects, initiatives, in connection with Embassies and Consulates and with the priorities of Italian foreign policy.

 Finally, Italian schools are often a point of reference in the countries in which they operate, being able to produce long-lasting returns for Italy in all sectors: cultural, political and economic. The internships proposed in this notice will take place at six all-inclusive state institutes campused in Athens, Barcelona, Istanbul, Madrid, Parigi and Zurich.

The trainees, motivated to carry out an experience within the schools, will actively collaborate in thedesign of the educational paths by supporting the teachers in the activities. They will have the opportunity to support students in assisted study activities or creative workshops , becoming cultural bridges between Italy and the local reality. They will be engaged in research, studies, analysis and data processing, staff support, institutional communication. They may also be involved in the organisation of events and assist the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Schools in external screening activities.

Participation in the syllabus includes the carrying out of an internship provided for in the study plan and the registration of the related university credits (ECTS credits), the traineeship will last three months and will take place in presence from 7 September to 7 December 2026.

Interested students are required to verify  in advance the compatibility of the traineeship with their study plan and with other ongoing training experiences.

There is a monthly reimbursement of expenses of 300 euros gross.

For internships carried out in person in non-EU countries, it is mandatory to have a health insurance policy valid in the country of destination.

Call for applications for 15 curricular internships at Italian schools abroad.

Call for applications for 383 curricular internships at the Diplomatic Missions, Consular Offices and Italian Cultural Institutes of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Participation in the syllabus includes the carrying out of an internship provided for in the study plan and the registration of the related university credits (ECTS credits). The traineeship will last 3 months in the period 14/09/2026 - 14/12/2026.

The trainees will be engaged in carrying out research, studies, analysis and processing of data useful for the in-depth study of the dossiers dealt with by each Campus. Students may also be involved in the organization of events and assist MAECI staff in external projection activities.

Before proceeding with the application, interested students are required to verify the compatibility and consistency of the activities envisaged by the traineeship with their study plan and with other ongoing training experiences (e.g. study mobility / traineeship);  

The university, in the face of any incompatibilities or inconsistencies, will consider the application unsuitable for the purposes of selection.

The method of carrying out the traineeship (in presence/distance from Italy) is indicated in the call for applications.

For internships carried out in person only, there is a monthly reimbursement of expenses of 300 euros gross.

For internships carried out in person in non-EU countries, it is mandatory to have a health insurance policy valid in the country of destination.

The Alumni Association of the University of Padova, the NGO-Onlus Doctors with Africa CUAMM and with the patronage of the Department of Women's and Children's Health-U.O.C. Gynaecological and Obstetric Clinic, following the donation donated by the Benedetti Family, announces a competition for the assignment of a degree prize aimed at a period of post-graduate traineeship named after Mrs. Irma Battistuzzi.

The study award is reserved for candidates with a degree in Obstetrics from the University of Padova in the academic year 2024/2025 who wish to increase their professional knowledge and skills by operating in difficult environments and with limited resources, thus acquiring a wealth of useful experience both within an Italian or European hospital ward, and in the case of personal choice to carry out one's professional activity in the field of international cooperation.

The traineeship will last 2 months and will take place in Africa, in one of the hospitals where Doctors with Africa CUAMM operates. The graduation award, worth € 2,500.00 (two thousand five hundred/00 euros), all inclusive of all legal charges borne by the Institution (I.R.A.P), will be donated entirely to the NGO-Onlus Doctors with Africa CUAMM to cover the costs of carrying out the professional experience. The Consortium coordinated by EuGen - European Generation, promotes mobility for traineeships of students enrolled at the 12 consortium universities, including the University of Padova, and calls for the assignment of Erasmus+ traineeship scholarships lasting from 2 to 5 months. The traineeship can take place in the period between  12 January 2026 and 31 December 2026.

The call is open to students of all fields of study. Recent graduates can also participate by submitting the application during the last year of enrolment and before obtaining the degree.

The purpose of the Eu4Eu syllabus is the development of transversal skills, including but not limited to: project management, project design, digital skills, web and graphic design, marketing, communication, social media management, business and administration

A preferential criterion in the evaluation of applications is the development of professional skills useful for:

  • seize the opportunities of European Union funding
  • submit funding proposals
  • manage and implement project activities

Time windows for completing and submitting the online application:

Other traineeship opportunities abroad

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) recently published over 50 new traineeship opportunities for its 2026 traineeship syllabus.
These internships represent great opportunities for recent graduates in areas related to life sciences (biomedicine, veterinary, pharmacy, etc.), IT and data (statistics, mathematics, computer engineering, etc.), and social sciences (economics, communication, librarianship, human resources, etc.).
The syllabus takes place from 1 October 2026 to 31 July 2027 at the EMA offices in Amsterdam.

To be eligible for the EMA traineeship syllabus, applicants must:

  • Be an EU or EEA citizen
  • Be recent graduates (graduates between 6 May 2025 and 6 May 2026) or university students enrolled in an Erasmus+ or similar syllabus, or PhD or Master's students with a previous completed degree.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of English (at least C1 level) and a good knowledge of another official EU language (at least B2), according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Vulcanus in Japan offers students from the EU or a country associated with the Single Market Programme (SME pillar) the opportunity to carry out a traineeship with a scholarship in a Japanese company. The syllabus takes place completely in Japan and lasts 8 months, from August to March of the following year. The initiative is aimed at students enrolled in specific master's degree and PhD courses in the scientific-engineering area.

The European Central Bank (ECB) is recruiting trainees in the field of cybersecurity.

Vacancy notice

The National Council of Science and Technology of Taiwan (NSTC) has launched the 2026 International Internship Pilot Program in Taiwan (IIPP). This syllabus offers traineeship opportunities for international students to experience Taiwan's strengths in science and technology and foster their connections with researchers in the industrial and government sectors in Taiwan. The IIPP platform offers traineeship opportunities with grants for international students, matching trainee candidates with upcoming research issues in Taiwanese research institutions.

Requirements: The syllabus is open to students enrolled in a First-cycle/Bachelor's degree course, Master's and PhD degree course of foreign nationality studying abroad. Applicants must have expertise in Taiwan's major fields of science and technology, including the humanities and social sciences.

Duration: The traineeship will start between June and December 2026.

Application Deadline: July 15, 2026.
