Do a stage or a traineeship abroad
The placement, or training and guidance traineeship, is a period of training intended for students during their course of study (curricular traineeship) and those who have obtained a degree within 12 months of obtaining the qualification (extracurricular traineeship) at companies, public bodies and professional practices. It may be compulsory under the regulations of the Bachelor's Degree Programme, or it may be undertaken on an optional basis.
The placement may have a maximum duration of 12 months for students and 6 for those who have just obtained their degree.
A placement involves three parties: the trainee, the promoting body (the University of Padua) and the host organisation, namely the company or body. The training pathway also includes the role of the University tutor, teaching staff of the University, and the role of the company tutor (not necessarily the same as the legal representative), who guide and support the trainee in carrying out the planned activity.

If you are approaching graduation or have recently graduated and would like to gain international work experience, we can support you in finding an internship or a traineeship abroad and ensure that it is then recognised as an integral part of your educational path.
