Internships and apprenticeships abroad for students and recent graduates

It isissued only on the occasion of the first internship hosted and establishes a framework agreement between the University and an institution or company, on the basis of which the latter has the possibility of activating internships.
If not yet stipulated, it is the responsibility of the host institution, which must:

• register the company master data (only the first time you use the service) through the appropriate form
• wait for the email for the validation of the registration
• use username and password to access the reserved  area (click on the Training and orientation agreement button)

It establishes the methods of carrying out the internship, including the duration and the activities to be carried out, defined jointly by the host institution, the guardian figure and the intern.

It must be completed by those who are preparing to carry out the traineeship together with the company tutor within their reserved area. At least 15 days before the start date, the single copy of the training agreement must be sent or delivered to the Career Service Office, which will then send it countersigned to the host institution.

Reserved area for students

In compliance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent amendments and additions and the State-Regions agreements of 21/12/2011 and 07/07/2016, students, graduates, during the traineeship period, are equivalent to workers; they must therefore receive adequate training in occupational health and safety consisting of:

General training course, of which the promoter is the guarantor (University of Padova)
The general training course (duration 4 hours) is carried out online BEFORE DI FILLING IN THE TRAINING PROJECT and the data must be reported in the training agreement.
It is available on the Moodle platform of the University training (by logging in with the institutional SSO credentials)

Specific training course, provided by the host entity (company or institution)
With regard to the level of risk to which the trainee will be exposed, the host entity (company or institution) is required to provide specific training for low (4 hours), medium (8 hours) or high (12 hours) risk; taking into account any specific training already carried out by the intern.
In order to give added value to the training course, the University of Padova has already activated in e-Learning mode the specific training course for those who are employed:
- in office or similar activities and for exclusively computer laboratories, specific low risk training course (duration 4 hours)
- in scientific laboratories (indoor and outdoor), specific high risk training course (duration 12 hours)
The specific training courses are available on the Moodle platform of the University training
The certificate obtained at the end of one of the two courses mentioned above can be sent to the host entity (company or institution) for the evaluation of the specific training carried out.

The confidentiality obligations that the Trainee must observe during the traineeship (about production processes, products or other news relating to the company of which he becomes aware, both during and after the traineeship), will eventually be regulated through specific agreements between the Host Subject and the Trainee, who is required to comply with the guidelines published below for the signature.
