Regional scholarships

A. complete and confirm the Request for fee reductions (RdA) on Uniweb (including for those enrolling during the academic year);

B.  request the issue of the ISEE/ISEE parificato (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) for reduced fees for the Right to university education (including for those enrolling during the academic year).

C.  complete enrolment for the academic year 2026/27 by paying the first instalment of tuition fees (by 30 September or, if enrolled in the first year, by the date indicated in the admissions notice).
Failure to complete, or incorrect completion of, even just one of the steps above will result in exclusion from the competition.

The Request for fee reductions, saved in your personal area on UNIWEB, constitutes the sole proof that the application has been submitted; applicants are therefore advised to check that it is present.

A different certification is required for:

• international students residing abroad, with a household residing abroad;
• international students residing in Italy, but with employment income below 9,000.00 euros and with a household residing abroad;
• Italian students residing abroad, whether or not registered with the Registry of Italians Resident Abroad (AIRE).

The issue of the ISEE Parificato must be requested exclusively from the CAF affiliated with the University, whose contact details are available on the page www.unipd.it/isee.

Details and further information

Those who fall into the following categories may apply: 

a. those enrolling in a Bachelor's Degree Programme/Master's Degree Programme/single-cycle Master's Degree Programme (those who obtain their Bachelor's degree after 30 September and intend to enrol in a Master's Degree Programme during the academic year may also apply, provided that they comply with the procedures and deadlines set out in art. 3 of the call for applications);

b. those enrolling in a PhD, provided that they are not already receiving another scholarship. 
 

Students may compete for the award of the scholarship for a different number of years or semesters depending on the Degree Programme attended, as indicated in the call for applications. 

The following students are excluded:  

• those who already hold a qualification, obtained in Italy or abroad, at the same level as or a higher level than that of the Degree Programme in which they are enrolled;
• those who have already received the scholarship in a previous Degree Programme at the same level as their current enrolment and have not repaid the benefit received.

Different financial and academic merit requirements apply depending on the categories of applicants.
It is necessary to meet both the financial requirements (ISEE below 26.306,25 euro and ISPE below  43.125,94 euro) and the academic merit requirements, as indicated in the call for applications.
To meet the minimum academic merit requirements, a bonus is applied in addition to the credits actually obtained. The bonus does not apply to part-time students or to those enrolling in a Master's Degree Programme, starting from the 2023/2024 cohort, whose entry qualification is a degree obtained abroad.

Students enrolled in the first year of degree programmes receive the scholarship in two instalments:
 

• the first instalment of the scholarship by December 2026.
• the second instalment by the month following the achievement of 20 university credits (ECTS credits), on a monthly basis starting from March (in any case, the 20 university credits (ECTS credits) must be obtained by 10 August).

Eligibility (which consists of exemption from tuition fees) and any scholarship received will be revoked if at least 20 university credits (ECTS credits) have not been obtained by 30 November.

Students enrolled in years after the first and in PhD programmes receive the scholarship in a single instalment by December 2026.
Scholarships are paid partly in cash and partly in services (accommodation and meals).
