Certificates
Certificates are official documents issued by the University that attest to information relating to the careers of students of the University of Padua.
Among the different types of certificates, the University also issues bachelor's and master's degree certificates .
In the event of obtaining the qualification, it is absolutely necessary to check that the career has been updated on the Uniweb portal ("student status" section) before submitting the forms. The updating of the data and the official registration of the university degree take a few days from the date of proclamation.
In case of expired or lost credentials, follow the password reset procedure available on the page: https://www.unipd.it/credenziali-uniweb.
The official certificate required by international students to renew their residence permit is available for download directly in the Uniweb personal area (self-certifications section).
The certificates contain the career information available at the time of issue. It is therefore advisable to verify, before applying, the correctness of the data in your personal area: enrolment in the academic year, exam records, personal data and all other information relating to your university career.
Certificates valid for Italy are issued only in Italian and are sent in digital format. The certificates can only be used in relations with private individuals: in relations with public bodies or private managers of public services it is usually necessary to present self-certifications.
To make the request, send to carriere.studenti@unipd.it indicating in the subject "request for Italian certificates":
- Application form (one for each career/matriculation).
- Receipt of payment of the Stamp Duty to be paid virtually through the PagoPA portal: make a spontaneous payment by selecting "DIDA02 - Stamp duty - Certificates" as the Payment Reason (amount: €16 for each certificate requested), then download the receipt from the same portal (payment instructions).
- Copy of a valid identity document.
For certificates issued for Italy, there are some exemptions from stamp duty (Presidential Decree 26/10/1972 no. 642 Annex B and subsequent amendments). To benefit from the exemption, it is necessary to indicate the regulatory provision you intend to use. The main exemptions are:
- Certificates for applying for competitive scholarships (Attach the call for applications to the application) – Art. 11
- Application of tax laws – Art 5
