The study room on Via Jappelli will reopen for six months, from Thursday, February 20th until August. Thanks to the successful completion of extraordinary maintenance work carried out in recent weeks, and while awaiting the 300 new study, coworking, and common room stations in the nearly finished Engineering HUB at the Padua Fair, the University has decided to reopen the study hall (184 seats) until the lease expires.
The University of Padua offers a total of 3,289 study places in over 50 study rooms located in Padua and its decentralized campuses, compared to 3,193 in the previous academic year. With the closure of the Jappelli Hall and the opening of the Engineering Hub, the number of places will rise to 3,402. In addition, there are more than 2,500 individual study and reading stations within the library spaces, which can be reserved through the Affluences App.
In addition to the new stations that will soon be available in the Engineering HUB, the University has extended, with immediate and permanent effect, beyond the exam session period, the opening hours of study spaces in the Campagnola teaching complex and the study hall on the ground floor of the Cittadella in Via Venezia (which has seen a significant increase in seats), as well as the Galilei study hall, which will remain open on weekends. New places are already available in the Piovego area, specifically in the Mathematics library (344 seats) and the Physics library (70 seats).
