Today, 20 September 2023, the first edition of the QS Europe University Ranking published its results. As one of the most internationally accredited ranking agencies, this year marks the 20th edition of the Quacquarelli Symonds ranking publications. Debuting a new specific ranking scheme, the QS agency evaluated 690 European institutions from 42 independent states for which 52 universities are considered. Within this specified ranking scheme, Padua places in the 13th percentile for the best European universities.

Today, 20 September 2023, the first edition of the QS Europe University Ranking published its results. As one of the most internationally accredited ranking agencies, this year marks the 20th edition of the Quacquarelli Symonds ranking publications. Debuting a new specific ranking scheme, the QS agency evaluated 690 European institutions from 42 independent states for which 52 universities are considered. Within this specified ranking scheme, Padua places in the 13th percentile for the best European universities.
The QS Europe University Ranking focuses exclusively on European universities, whose geographical, cultural and legislative proximity makes them more likely to be comparable. New indicators introduced in this specific evaluation include Inbound Exchange Student Ration and Outbound Exchange Student Ration. The weight of some of the indicators, which include those in the QS World University Ranking, have also changed.
