Accommodation
For those arriving from outside, it is easy to find a home in the city.
You can opt for an independent room or an apartment in one of the 17 university residences of the Regional Agency for the Right to Education-ESU; With prices calculated on the basis of income and merit (as well as the type of residence) you can access the desired room by participating in a call for assignment (published in the summer).
In addition, Padova offers the opportunity to stay in residences, colleges and hundreds of private apartments located in the beautiful historic center and in the city districts Portello, Arcella, Forcellini, Facciolati, Sacra Famiglia. To deal with the phenomenon of "black rents" you can take advantage of a facilitated lease contract scheme prepared by Unipd, Esu, Guardia di Finanza and the Municipality of Padova.

University Catering
For quality and cheap lunches and dinners, you can take advantage of 2 ESU-run restaurants and 14 affiliated canteens, also open on Saturdays and Sundays: the cost of a full meal varies from 2 to 8 euros depending on economic conditions and merit (and there are other benefits related to scholarships and inclusion actions).
Classrooms, study rooms, libraries, computer labs
Within a radius of just 1 kilometer, among the streets of the pedestrian center or in the university district par excellence (the Portello) are the Unipd university facilities dedicated to study: hundreds of lecture rooms, study and computer labs, 30 library locations, a Polyclinic Hospital of excellence - which represents a point of reference for patient health throughout Italy - and a veterinary hospital just 10 km from the city center.
And the quiet rooms, places dedicated to special study needs for students with special needs and personal needs (breastfeeding, first aid, personalized study support...).
Transport
Regional and high-speed trains, trams and city buses, two airports less than 50 km away: one in Venice and one in Treviso. Thanks to a good public transport network, getting to and from Unipd to other cities is easy.
And it is also in the city: people usually move on foot or by bicycle, thanks also to bike sharing services and free-flowing sharing scooters. The QuiBus service offers on-demand night minibuses so that students can experience the city better and in a safe and sustainable way.
